Brake problems after Fastbrakes Kit install
Just finished installing the Corrado 11" Rotor/Integra Caliper kit with Axxis Ultimates on my 1990 CRX Si and I'm having a couple problems. The first and most obvious was that the pedal can easily drop to the floor. The brakes still engage and stop me, but the pedal just feels really really weak. (Not mushy though) I bled the brakes twice, once with a pressure bleeder and once manually with a check valve. Both times the problem remained. I have had a master cylinder with bad seals before and this doesn't feel like that either, because I still can stop the car. I knew I would lose pedal travel due to the increase in piston size in the calipers, but should it be this severe?
The second problem I had was when bedding in the pads (Axxis Ultimates), one of the fronts started smoking. Not bad, but to the point where I noticed it from inside the car when I stopped. The procedure I was using was speed up to 35-45mph and then slow gradually to a stop and wait about 30-45sec for cooldown with the brakes disengaged. I was going to do this about 12-15 times but around the 8th is when I noticed some smoke. Should new pads/rotors do this a little or is something wrong?

Calipers are 90 Integra LS (Same as all LS 90-01)
Stock Si MC - and I've been reading a lot of posts, seems like I might need to upgrade to the Civic 90 EX MC. Sounds like some people can deal with the lack of travel but most just upgrade.
