I plan on buying 16" OEM rims. How does that affect my driving, if it does at all? Also, best tires

We just installed some factory 16" rims on a 05 Civic and used 205/50 16" which is what Honda calls for.

Sorry I am very car illiterate, but I am trying to learn. 205/50 is what? The specific tire size? I want all season tires, for my daily driven car. So 205/50 tires, but what brand is best and within $125 per tire.

heres how tire sizes work

there are 3 numbers
X-X-X
example: 205-50-15

they mean
#1: width of tire in MM
#2: height of sidewall, measured in percentage of #1(so 50= 50% of 205)
#3: rim/wheel diameter

so 205-50-15 is a 205mm wide tire, with a 102.5mm tall sidewall that will fit a 15" rim

Oh and get some yoko es100's, they're cheap, and have good performance characteristics in ALL chategories(dry/wet grip, treadwear, roadnoise, etc).
not the BEST in any category, but they do everything good, many people will vouch for them so they are a quick and easy choice to go with

Cool thanks for the reply. 2 more posts left for the day, including this one. Any recommendations on tires for all seasons? Also, is driving on 16" during winter conditions harmful for my rims in any way?

I can vouch for the es100's. great tire

Not so good in winter though. I'm running 205-40-17

edit: Those wheels look badass. What car do they come off of?

Under 500 you could get the Apex'i World Sport. I haven't heard one bad thing about it, and it's nice and deep and almost stock at idle.
