I would assume since 90-91 doors have the belts attached that they are different from 88-89 with belts attached to frame.

do you have the seatbelts in your doors? that would be the only difference

and yes the seatbelt door panels fit on non-seatbelt doors with very little modding. I have it on mine, although I hate the way it looks. I'm trying to find black non-seatbelt hatch door panels.

no i have the same one you have.. i have the seatbelt on the frame.. o wel.. im trying to find the non-seatbelt door panels too, i found some before but it was brown, so i decided not to take it well for me, as long as it's doesn't look like it has cancer.. i would be ok with me.. if u see my door panels right now, you wouldn't want to touch it.. lol

hehe I got mine without door panels. So it looks a lot better with even the seatbelt ones... but it's pretty silly looking when you get up close

Woo 88 STD! The B1's a bitch, ain't it? I put a 5SPD DX tranny on mine and, no, it's not any better except a little better on highways.

the sedan or Si exhaust manifold is a pretty significant difference and so many people have them laying around the house. i must have 6 of those manifolds. that and the cylinder head's casting shift between the port throats and valve seats are the only differece ive seen between B1's and 2's.. whats the HP rating difference.. 23 or something? atleast 50% of it is the exhaust manifold IMO
