If it's a cx then it's probably taped on using double sided tape. To find out what model it is you can run a carfax on it.

Cause cx DID NOT come with sidemoldings.

CX came with side moldings, but are taped on.
I'm pretty sure it came stock, but was just an option
CX is a tiny bit lighter then the VX

but I'd still get the VX, it has extra lil goodies that no other hatch has
plus it's wired for Vtec

All 92 civics came w/ the same main wire harness. This includes vtec, clock, power windows, mirrors, doors, what ever. After that (93-95), Honda switched the main harness to be specific for each car. If it's a 93-95, adding vtech is only two wires (plus whatever features the motor has: EGR, IABs, Knock, etc...).

No 92-95 CX or Vx came with moldings (it was a stick on option). The fenders and door skins are different part numbers from other civics, and don't have the square holes for the clip in moldings. If it truly is a CX or VX you can just peel those ugly things off and clean the glue away w/ some bug & tar...

Oh, and I know for sure since my friend and I both have CX's. I also bought a VX fender that came w/ molding on it, but it peeled right off.

I own a 92 CX and IT DOES NOT have side moldings....So the guy above is wrong...

Now about the autotrader....That car has 2 differents sets of wheels, maybe more but only 2 in the pic, pep boys "JDM y0!" turn signals (APC). And it does have side moldings, who knows???

But i am positive that NOT ALL CX's came with side molding, mine was owned by one owner and it didnt have them and i am sure he didnt just take them off.......
