'94 Accord tranny probs - followup
My thanx to those who responded to my question concerning my daughters Accord tranny issue. The shop I mentioned in my previous post could not find anything wrong, other than low fluid, with the trans. They charged her < $30 to top off fluids & check out car, then she drove ~400 miles home without probs.
I drove the car the next day after she got home, and about 3 miles along, the tranny acted up, wouldn't shift from 3 to 4. The symptom was similar to a slipping clutch in a manual trans. Kinda reminds me of my dads '64 chevy wagon with the aluminum 2spd powerglide, also powerslide or slip-n-slide, tranny.
So, I'm going to follow the advice to change fluid/screen & see how that works out. I'm including a pix ( if these URL refs. work ) of her fluid compared to fresh:

And a pix of deposits on the drain plug:

Comments about fluid or plug deposits?
Thanx,
Anders
