Ok first off I searched and the search function was unavailable at the time.

I have a 91 Civic SI with a Y8 that I am going mid compression (10.5:1) and turbo. Yes I know everyone says go low compression so disagree well I am dissagreeing. I am going mid compression and low boost.

Anyways, I was wondering what was the best cam for this situation? I am going to be N/A for awhile so I would like to find a nice cam that would work well for both of them.

More than likely I will buy a cheap header and a good cam and drive it like that till this upcoming summer. (I want to have another daily driver before I turbo this one)

P.S. I am interrested in getting a Skunk2 intake manifold, how well do they perform or would I be just as well off getting a stock manifold and over boring it?

try exospeed and see what they have to say... their cam line is great but they are backed up... so you wont get it any time soon.

 

There is no "Best cam" IMO, There are a lot of great cam manufacturers out there. If I were you i'd look at an AEBS IM, Word has it they make more power and are cheaper than Skunk 2. Skunk 2 is pretty much a copy of the ITR anyway.

 

By best cam I meant for this setup. I would like to have a good mid/top end cam for while I am N/A, but also I cam that will perform will with turbo.
