Default Steering lock screws

To everyone who has had thier car stolen, How did you get your steering lock fixed? I ordered a new one and all but can't figure out how to remove the old lock. The screws I guess break off when you tighten them all the way. Now I know your asking why dont I take it to the dealer to do. It cost alround 300 to fix it. I already have the kit and just need to know how to remove the screws that hold it to the steering rack. I have a service manual but its not to describitive on removing them. Tried drilling into them but theres no room to get in the direction I need to. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I didn't know where to post this soo if im somewhere wrond please excuse me, Thanks.

lots of car thieves out there. would like to tell you how but>>> how do we know that you arent planning the same thing.. i doubt you are, but know one wants to answer that question and take the chance.sorry. if you go to the dealer and purchase a new ignition , they will explain hoe to remove the tumbler, or take out your drivers door lock and for $15 they will make you a key
