OT: Possible Lancer Evolution Siting in the Midwest
I was driving down Half Day road on the Northshore (suburbs outside Chicago) and I could have sworn I saw a purple-ish Mistubishi Lancer Evolution on a trailer behind some kind of truck pulling it. Might have been for racing purposes because it was on a trailer. Just thought some people might be interested to hear
Yeah, **** are good.
I contemplated pulling the e-brake and doing a 180, but then I remembered my car is in Arizona and I was driving a Camry

I had the chance to buy an Evo about 3 years ago after my first R was totalled, It was a guy out in Indiana, White Lancer GSR Evolution 6
By the time I decided to go for it the car was sold.

TAD Motorsports in Lake Zurich preps cars, including the Evo and other imports not available for street use in the States, for the professional rally circuit all over the world. They do so by gutting the entire car, re-welding all the seams, etc.
You can often spot one or more Evos at their shop. Since it's located right off Half Day Road (IL 22), that's undoubtedly where the car you saw was headed to or from.
