i need serious help i cant find out wats wrong with my engine....i have to refill my engine with oil every other day cuz it burns tha hell out of it.......ive posted this topic once already but didnt get any decent help so im trying it again....can anyone tell me wat could be wrong....i got a new pvc but that doesnt seem to be tha problom....i checkd and tightend all tha bolts underneath and that doesnt seem to be tha problem either.....i have a h23...and is most of those used engines from japan jdm....because someone told me that they use there engines for 50k miles and ditch there engines because of tha emission law...anways i also need to know where tha fuel filter is located and does anyone know where u can find a free car manual website for 4th generation preludes....sorry i wrote a story .....thanx a million to those who took tha time and help me out

 

first of all calm down. HOw many miles on the motor post is not clear. You could have bad valve seals or piston rings. Did you see a leak under the car? Try using a heavier weight oil and see if that helps. Next time add a few more detail to the post so we can help you better.

 

could be anything from loose oil filter to cam seals, crank seal, bad oil pan gasket, piston rings, valve seals...does the car smoke or what? more info man!

 

Always start with the simple stuff. Check for leaks! I agree with hondafiend could be anything.

 

no theres no smoke or any of that sort....the previous owner said he got a new engine installed ... so im guessin the mechanic there cheated him. i already checked under tha car for any type of leaks...seems to be all fine....so since there isnt any smokes doesnt seem to be bad seals for tha rings...so yea if u can help its greatly appreciated. thanx

 

if theres no smoke...its deff a leak...put it up on a lift and look at it carefully
