Heres the question....Should I get CLUTCHMASTERS Stage One or Stage Three?? THeres a considerable price difference between the two, so I dont want to get Stage Three unless I really need it. Also, I am keeping the stock flywheel, in case that makes a difference.
Heres my set up:
1996 Honda Civic with a 1.6 VTEC, Greddy Turbo with 200 W.H.P. at 10 PSI Boost.
I am also having to replace the tranny (which pisses me off to no end) because the bearings have gone out...thats another problem I am having...how do I find a good junkyard tranny? SHould I rebuild the one Ive got? I just dont know...
ANyway, help on the Clutchmaster Clutches would be geatly appreaciated!!
Thanks.

Check out clutchnet, http://www.clutchnet.com/. Give ethem a call, and they will tell you what all of thier clutches hold. I just bought, for 250 to my door, a 6 puck sprung clutch with pp. Should hold up to 300ish tq.
I have clutchmasters stage III with there light flywheel, i like it, i would recommend it but since its kevlar disked its a little rough in 1st gear and reverse
i would say go with stage 3

i also have the cm stage 3 kevlar with cm aluminum flywheel. it has a nice pedal, my mother and girlfriend can drive it fine. not much slip though. i had a exedy stage one, and i think it actually had a harder pedal than the stage 3 cm.

Yea, I hear the S3 drives pretty much like stock, BUT will it be okay with my STOCK flywheel?? If I need to upgrade the flywheel whats the approx cost? (I'd rather NOT do this if possible).
oh man oh man i need to take a pic of my like 5 month old clutchmaster stage3 my car was only dynoed at 280 whp on 7psi and that stupid *** clutch metal pieces broke off and coulda screwed my tranny over. it broke where the metal on the clutch is (the hub) you know where it holds the springs in....i am gonna take pics for you,
