My Honda civic 2000 ex have a check engine lights on
the code were 301,302,303,304 and 171
which mean cylinder number 1-4 missfire
and fuel system is too lean

they told me first to change the spark plugs, and if it doesnt work, change the fuel injector
btw is changing the fuel injector needed the engine to be taken out first?

Hmm are you running any aftermarket fuel parts? Fuel pressure regulator. or are you running a VAFC? cause if u dont have a enough fuel pressure ur not gettin enough fuel. and if u got a vafc u could have removed fuel.

but to answer your question. to remove the injectors you got to remove the 3 10mm bolts holding on the fuel rail pull off the fuel rail and pop out the injecotors and pull of the clips. put the clips on the new injectors and put the inectors back in the fuel rail and put into the intake manifold. put the 3 10mm bolts back on and ur all set

 

are you just running stock? or what is your setup? i was getting the same codes in my 99 ex w/ turbo but i retarded the timing a little and it went away.

when does it happen? mine would come on at around 4-4.5k rpm's.

 

how many miles u have on ur car? If the injectors are bad I think Honda covers it under their 80/8 years emissions warranty.
