Default Clutch problem (Integra GS-R)

I posted this in the Integra forum, and I'm sorry if I'm being an idiot for posting twice, but I'd really like to find anyone who can help.

This is going to be long, but I would really appreciate input.

I have a 2000 Integra GS-R, and a couple thousand miles ago, I was noticing that the my clutch would engage at different points along the pedal travel. The majority of the time it would engage normally, but every so often, it would engage really low to the floor. BUT it would only engage slightly, and would only really grab hold at the normal engagement point. It felt almost as if the clutch had floated its way towards the flywheel, and so it would touch really early but not really engage until it was supposed to.

Very odd behavior. I had the master cylinder replaced, no luck. Had the slave replaced, no luck. Finally, had the clutch replaced, and it seemed to take care of the problem.

UNTIL about a couple weeks into the new clutch, I was driving around, and it suddenly became ultra soft at engagement. After I kept driving it around a while (because my mechanic told me sometimes the clutch just needs to seat), it seemed to get better. But it's been about 2500 miles, and here's what it does.

Sometimes, it'll engage nice and clean like, just like it used to. But then other times, it'll feel really soft when engaging. Once I've let off the pedal, it transmits power just fine, but I don't feel that 'kick' or 'pop' that you usually feel when the clutch first catches the flywheel.

Any ideas? Stock OEM clutch, master cylinder, and slave cylinder, all less than 3500 miles. My car is at 49k. Thanks much.
