Default Prelude pricing question...

As I said in my previous post, my friend is looking for a lude. He likes the 4th gen more because of its lighter weight, obd1, and looks. Well we found one. Its a 93' Vtec with only 75,000 miles. Some old rich women bought it when it was new and used it only as a summer car. This thing is the most mint condition car i have ever seen in my whole life, it looks like it just rolled off the show room floor. And its bone stock, plus its never been beat on. What do you guys think is a fair price? She really had no idea, she said if she had to guess she would say $7,000. The blue book value is $5,740 for the car in its condition with its options and miles. Hes thinking of asking around $6,000 at first and working his way up to a max of $6,500-$6,800. Quick responses would be apreciated as me and him are gunna test drive it the day after tomorow. Thanks in advance.

yes the price is definitly worth it. Blue book on my 94 w/ only 66k was 9200 so someone is looking on the wrong website. I bought mine for 7200. Although it was an auto. BUT not anymore

no matter how clean it looks or what the nice old lady says - have your buddy take it to a shop and have it looked at throughly (compression and leakdown), its a 12 year old car, and for $6000, you've got to be sure... if everything checks out -your buddy has lucked out with a finding a beautiful car in good condition.

agreed, but if it's everything that you say, i would say up to 6500 or 6800 would be a good price Good luck!
