Ok, So as the story goes I bought my civic used and the kid before me had a tv where the dome light goes. I took out the tv, ( I mean who is going to sit behind me and watch tv, im 6'5") and I am in the process of putting the stock dome light back in. I figured out which wires go where based on the schematic, its not that complicated, its only 2 wires. My problem is that the center position on the switch is supposed to turn the light on and off when the door opens and shuts. When the switch is in the center position, the light stays on no matter if the door is open or shut. Has anyone experienced such a problem? Where should I start looking? On my schematic it shows a "integrated control unit" there is a fuse under the dash, does anyone know which this one is? its not listed on my cover to the fuse box. The car is a 00 civic, with an aftermarket stereo. Does the aftermarket stereo affect 00 civics? I have mostly heard of 96-99 civics being affected by this problem. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
