Default probably a repeat question but can you put a h22 head on a h23 safely?

I just bought a 93 prelude si. Before I start dumping money into it, I want to put a vtec head on it. Is this possible, like the ls/vtec conversions? If so, what do i need to do this? Is there a kit or anything I can buy for headgaskets and studs? I live on a island with no shops that do this stuff all the time. I pretty much want to take my car with some sort of intructions or guide and the parts i need to a local mechanic and say here you go. Thanks for reading my post
