Default intake manifold

This is too anybody who is an expert on the f22a.

Is it possible for me to bolt on the dual runner intake manifold from an f22a6 onto my f22a1?

If so are there other things I would also need to change? (I'm trying to get that additional power the a6 has)

to get the full potential of an a6 motor in your a1, you will need ecu, exhaust downpipe, and i believe the cam. for the manifold to function correctly, you will need the ecu (from an EX), and you will have to wire the "butterfly valve" which is on the side of the manifold (the a1 does not have this). if anyone can, feel free to explain this better or correct me.

What about that butterfly valve/box on an F22A4? As the F22A4 does not have this butterfly box/valve under the intake either.

Will I also need to do the cam, ECU? The Exhaust is the same. Did not see any dif. between the F22A4 and the F22A6 exhaust.

Asking because all the D.Y.I.'s that I have read say nothing about changing the Cam and/or ECU for the Intake to work right or anything about the Butterfly just says need to connect vacume lines to it.

Oh and for those of you who think I am a know it all, I will be the first to admit, "I don't know it all. I am still learning about loads of things"
The day you stop learning is the day you DIE as that is the only time in a persons life they will stop learning.

And to those of you who feel I have come across that way, I apologize. Did not mean to seem that way.

i was the one who posted the response under (herde1724). I was at school and didn't realize the computer was logged on under a diff name. Anyways, the exhaust is different from the a4 to the a6. The a6 downpipe splits into two seperate pipes before the flex pipe, sort of like the H22, where as the a4 has a single pipe all the way. It's kind of hard to explain, I'll see if i can get a picture.
You will need the "black box" which does control the butterflys, i believe there are a few vacum lines that run to it. I do believe the ECU's are also different. You will have to run a wire for the IATB to the ECU (pin A17) i think. The cam is also different, but by small amounts. This is what all you will need to get the full potential of the A6 motor. You will notice a difference with the intake manifold, since that is the main difference. Anyone can feel free to correct me again.
