Just changed out a clutch, not it wont start :S
Uhmm, I just changed out a clutch and its not starting. The car turns over.
I plugged all plugs back in. It does not want to fire up. Sometimes I can BARELY get it started idling at 200rpm but it dies out. Ground wire to tranny is bolted back on. O2 sensor is plugged back in.
What could it be? It turns over but does not get spark. I also checked spark plugs/cap/rotor/etc
(puts flame suit on)
EDIT: no check engine

Far fetched idea, but is the engine harness ground still hooked up to the thermostat? Make sure it's tight. I know you dont' have to take it off to take tranny off but I've seen it happen before. That ground goes to your ecu.

double check every wire you un-clipped, make sure the battery is also connected properly.
and if you can take a look in your intake, make sure you did not leave a rag or something in there.

Thats not a far fetched idea at all. Check your harnesses out...and yes it is possible to install the clutch backwards. Although one would have to be very determined to do so!

Double check and make sure you didn't put the map/TPS sensors on backwards. It should throw a code but you never know.

you dont unplug those to take a tranny off.
check all connections on starter, and check the ground on the water pump.

Quick update: Clutch disc was NOT installed backwards, instead the clutch disc part that hooks up to the input shaft, something was too long and had to be shaved down.

I thought all Bseries clutches (as long as they were hydrolic) were the same?
</TD></TR></TABLE>
I'm pretty sure they are. That shouldn't have to do anything with it not wanting to idle though. Check your ground wires again migs. I had the same problem, but it was the ground. Try to see if you can reground it or mount it somewhere else or even add another.

That's strange. Len told me he's used an LS clutch in his ITR and I've used a GSR clutch in my LS. What kind of clutch did you use Migs?

Hmmmm, the release bearing was purchased from Oreilleys......this could explain it.
