Default AN-r Equal length Header

Let me know what you guys think, this is a header i ordered, waited a month, and have had it about 2 months, not put it on yet, just wanted some oppinions on it, also, what would be good to coat this header with, cause as you can tell in the pics, it is starting to rust, so obviously it would be alot worse if i did have it on the car, what should i coat this header with. Sorry for huge pics, i cant figure out how to make them smaller.

id get it coated at a professional coaters.. if not then a big bottle of high temp paint... but look into a few good pro coaters.. (jet coat, hotcoat?)

looks nice! did you keep it outside? or just moisture in the air? i thought i read on here once about coating headers inside and outside, don't know if it would be worth it, if coating it would be just for cosmetic concerns..

its a good header, we've sold them a few times.

i would really suggest either getting SS or having the coating done..

next to that, perhaps An R can give you the info on their coater, since you didnt get the option: its not that expensive, they seem to do a good job.

$530 is not a lot for this header. it is very competitively priced. a flange will only cost you 20-30max. under 600 and it will perform the same or better than most headers costing 1000-up. add stainless steel or ceramic coating for $200 extra for durability and youre still way under 800.
we dont provide a flange because there is simply too many engine and chassis combinations with the swaps you guys are doing. this allows us to get these headers out much faster with the volume of orders we deal with.

we use embee performance coatings in CA. they charge about $175 per header.
