help rebuilding B18A1 for turbo
hello guys, i have a integra with 100k m. with a leak of oil i dont know where, i want to put a turbo, and i think i have to be nice with my engine changing a few thins like:
Head gasket
intake manifold gasket
exhaust manifold gasket
cam seals
timing belt
timing belt tensioner
crankshaft main seal
valve seals
oil pan gasket
spark plug wires
fuel pump (walbro 255 for integra)
all this for 380$, do you think this is a good inversment????, do i have to change some other thinks????? like???? what else do i have to change to not have a problem with the engine????
thanks...
Er...um...that's not a bad start but I'd probably recommend some new internals. I'd do some searching for prior threads, there's always so much talk about turbo's.

like wich????
well, if you want to keep your internals (pistons, rods) stock, a good rebuild is a nice place to start. Might want to consider rings and bearings as well...
Just my opinion though.

If you plan on keeping a fairly mild setup, then new internals aren't necessary, however it wouldn't be a bad idea to invest in some bottom end balancing and some ARP rod bolts and head studs.
