Default Alarm on 96 Accord Ex

I have a 96 accord ex with everything except an alarm. My friend who owns an inifity was saying how the alarm was already installed on his and all he had to do was obtain a remote and do the procedure for reprogramming the remote. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of something like this existing for honda. what my question is, is it possible the alarm is already installed stock (but just not activated since it was not purchased) on my car and it might just need to be activated nd a remote obtained? i do have an aftermarket pioneer stereo, which i've heard that honda alarms route through the stereo and you need an adapter to make it work with others.

no, honda never pre-wired the 94-97 accord for an alarm. truth be told, factory alarms are nothing more than a cheap shock sensor w/ door triggers and keyless entry. you can steal the car while the alarm is going off due to the lack of a starter kill which is considered standard on any aftermarket alarm. if you are intersted in security i highly reccomend the compustar line, they use 900mhz FM technology (almost everyone else uses AM technology which is easily interfered with by cell phone towers, radio station towers...) the range of these systems is incredible. they also offer awesome 2-way remote transmitters that will tell you if the alarm has been set off through the remote, in addition to if the door, hood, or trunk has been opened.

Yeah thats what i recently got it was expensive but im pretty sure it was well worth it.. i havent had anybody try to break into my car yet but from what ive heard about it its one of the best. because i park my car outside i ahd to get something better then the stock alarm. the only thing that sucks is on my key it has the panic, lock/unlock doors, and trunk opener and all those are now disabled. also i went to this place down the street and got a small camera that i put on my garage door that is wireless and sends me a live feed of where i park my car and it also has night vision on it. but the down side is that i downloads onto my compter and it takes up a hell of a lot of space even though its on a 24 hour loop.
