Alright i got a set of Skunk2 strut tower bars from a friend of mine for cheap. He owned a 94 coupe, I own a hatch.
I know he had to cut his carpet to fit the bar in the rear, so I figured i have to cut my plastic. I was wondering if the rear bars are the same for the coupe and hatch?
And if not (and i have to cut my plastic), does anybody have any tips and pictures of the installation for the rear? Because i don't want the plastic to look like ****

i'm pretty sure they're the same, just not positive.
I really just need some pics or details on installing in the plastic

They are the same. Now cutting the plastic depends on the strut bar. I have a neuspeed one and no cutting was required. Test fit the bar. You may need to notch the plastic a bit but nothing to hard to worry about.

i know these def won't fit without some modification of the plastic. i don't know whether to cut from the top of just make square holes for the bar.

that just seems like a choice that you will have to make, it is an opinion. Cut the plastic to how you think it would look nice.

This is what I'd do, just dremel the hole for the mount. I have the S2 bars, and I just cut a slit into the carpet. Shouldn't be to hard to do it in plastic.

On mine I started with upside down T shapes cut into the sides of the rear strut tower plastic, but putting them in wrecked it, and it wasn't cut perfectly straight. So then I cut around it with a hole saw.
