Lancer EVO 8 Intercooler on a Integra? Has it been done?
I have the offer to pick up a EVO 8 FMIC for cheap and I was wondering if anyway has successfully made it fit into a Integra. I dont want it to hang below the bumper at all. Its approx. 11.25" tall. Has any one fit this intercooler, or similar into a teggy before? Thanks

damnit i forgot to take pics, i guy i know did it without much problem on his CRX. He said it took like a total of 30min because he had to change a bracket or something
People have been using EVOIII/VI/V/VI/VII/VIII FMIC's on everything over here. Cheaper than buying an after market IC and even cheaper if you can get one off of a wrecked EVO.

Should fit, a buddy of mine has one on his mazdaspeed miata, but I've heard those IC's are prone to have a 2-3lb pressure drop. :Dunno: just what I've heard from the local EVO owners, 2 of which were built by Buschur Racing.
My buddy and I swapped a 1.8T into his 97 jetta and we used a Evo 8 IC. THe only problem we had was the way the inlet and outlets are pointed made it a PITA to make IC piping for. So we had to cut them and make them straight so we could make the IC piping easier to work with. You'd have the same problem with a honda. But the work pretty well

i would like to know as well. My main concern is how it will look because (call me a ricer) I want the core and a little bit of the end tanks to completely fill my front bomex bumper. Of course, given my powergoals (4-500 daily, 6+ track) the evo ic would be temporary. im pretty sure at about 600hp it becomes a bottleneck. most of the evo owners say that around 350hp its maxed out. for the price (150-200) it wouldnt be a bad temp thing would it?
