Default EOC HPDE Invite

Sorry for the late notice...

The Evolution Owners Club is holding a high-performance driver's education event at the Streets of Willow Springs on the Full Track with bowl configuration going clockwise.

This event is open to ALL CARS. Seems that more Evo owners are more concerned about polishing their cars than driving them. The organizer of the event is just trying to break even.

Why an EOC HPDE is better than any open track day:
- Maximum of 40 participants (There are currently 25 or so.) This means that you get LOTS of open track. A SpeedTrialUSA event will have over 100 participants (100 registered plus the people working the event)

- AMB Timing Included. These are very accurate timing systems. At events like Redline, you get at BEST a hotlap timer that costs $40. At STUSA this is not even an option.

- Instruction from REAL instructors who have raced for factory teams, Le Mans, Formula Atlantics, Indy Lights, IMSA, etc. EOC HPDE events are structured such that there is classroom instruction and driver's meeting the night before. On track days, you get lots of valuable feedback to make you a better driver.

- Time Trials. The last hour of the day is set aside for time trials where you can put down your best laptimes on a virtually empty track.

- Track Gate fee waived. Lunch included. Tech Inspection included. Giveaways from vendors. $200 - $10 gate fee - $10 for food and drinks - $20 for AMB Timing - $10 Tech Inspection. $150 for GOOD instruction with an OPEN track.

- Giveaways and prizes from participating vendors.

Let me reiterate that this is NOT A NORMAL TRACK DAY. This is truly an HPDE for all levels of driving and the goal of the event is to improve your skills as a racer. There will be first timers out there as well as seasoned veterans receiving instruction.

Ask anyone who has been to a track event before, most people at the track are really cool. A lot of people have told me that they didn't want to go to the track with a buncha Evo guys. Don't worry, everybody at the track is a car enthusiast and there is no poo flinging going on.

Recap:
Who: Someone who wants to take their driving to the next level.
What: EOC HPDE, $200, AMB timing included.
When: Saturday Night, November 27 at 8pm until Sunday, November 28 at 5pm.

Guess you have not run a Redline event recently? We are using the same AMB system you will be using, probably from the same guy! You know who you are!

I know quite a few "REAL" instructors that have never raced for a "factory team", and I would still consider them "REAL" instructors!

On a side note, I would vouch for "most" of the EVO guys as I have run with quite a few of them and they are a nice bunch of people!

Hope the event goes well. Sounds like a fun time!
