i would roll on 13" daytons. they won't clear the brakes, but if you get enough offset, you can get them to fit. also, they will stick out enough to make it handle and look cooler. as far as tires, you may want to run white walls. those seem to have the right "bounce" that is needed. good luck.

First I would switch over to AEM EMS rather than trying to monkey tune a vafc. Then I would be more specific as to the exact size of wheel and width and wheather this is a dual purpose car or a track only car.
The Toyo RA-1 is a good dual purpose tire and if you PM the s2000 forum mod vapor he can help you with fitment recommendations.

We race an S2 in Honda Challenge and switch from 17" to 18" back and forth. They both have advantages and disadvantages. We've even tried 16". All work really well when set up right.
RA1's is a good DOT track tire. You could start with a 225/245 combo and if you need wider, then you can go up from there.

Can you elaborate on the differences you've noticed?

Ya.... i would like to know also....My 16" CE28N's with Hoosiers are sooo light.... but the width I am running is fairly skinny.
I think you guys run a 18x10 rear with 285/30/18 and still be inside the body work, yet clear the suspension..... i think you guys run 18x9 up front with a 245/35/18? That has to be more sticky around the turns for sure.... do you lose much acceleration though?
do you know how much more that combo weighs than my 16" CE28n's?
do you know the offsets for that combo that won't rub and doesn't stick out? anyone out there selling some used (straight) CCWs? in that size?
i don't see any real advantage to 17" due to having to use the same 225/245 combo that I use (in hoosiers that is).
