Snowboard Rack for an EG Hatch?
Im not sure where to put this, as its an exterior modification in a way but it is for FUNCTION purpose only so it fits hear too. Also, this question is specific to the EG hatch so I figured I would drop it here.
Does anyone here have a snowboard rack for their eg hatches? If so who's are you using and what recommendations do you have for someone that is looking right now?

you can get a universal rack that holds snowboards and surfboards......the kind with the cylinder shaped foam.
im sure u can put a rack on just like any other car.... either that or u can fold down one of ur back seats, but the drawback wit that is only 3 people can ride in.....
actually,in my 92 hatch i couldnt fit a third person.........

im pretty sure yakima n thule makes a rack for ur car. they can be pricey tho. but they're good pieces. i have a pic of a rack on a ek hatch tho. if ur interested pm me.
You can get a yakima racks used on ebay at pretty good prices.
The thing about them though is that they hook into your doorjam and can mess up your paint and door seals. Also the front and back rack has to hook into the door so they will only be about 20" apart.

i use a yakima rack annually on my hatch, works great, some ppl like thule, some like yakima, i havnt had any issues with mine, so i cant complain, DEFINATELY get a rack, puttin ur board inside the car gets it dirty and ***** up the interior.
