knocking sound
Hey guys i need some help
like 2 weeks ago i blow my motor and i just put a new one in well its not new its one that i had its like a brand new head (rebuild) and the block its used. It was runing fine for like 2 days until the oil light came on and it started to knock i took the oil pan off and the oil pick up was on the bottom of the oil pan it fell off lol dont know how that happened. well now i put it back on and it knocks now its like a werid knock tho its there when i give it gas and if the take out the number 2 spark plug wire out it stops knockin could this be timing or is it probly bearings or piston slap i dont know what to do someone said it could be off timing well im asking you guys please help

you spun a bearing. i am sure of the becasue when you take the load off cylinder #2 it goes away. so that is your bad bearing right there. dont dirve it and get it fixed asap.

could easily be a scarred up piston skirt and cylinder as well, and your bearing could be perfect. drain oil, pull pan, look for glitter specs or bearing will be obvious slivers.
