Default can my 90 integra ecu be chipped for a vtec motor?

I have a 90 integra. The bottom end is stock with a gsr head.I'm currently using a v-afc to activate my v-tec.I have most of the items to do a obd0 to obd1 conversion.after I got most of the items to do the conversion someone told me I could just chip my stock ecu for vtec and stay obd0.does anyone know for fact if this is true. Also what is the advantage of odb1.

What about z-dyne? Do they still do that stuff? And if so do they do it for an LS ecu?

They had the one wire conversion along time ago. It seemed like a good way to go. You would just send them your ecu and they would re program it and add a wire for vtec. Just that easy.
