hi
i have a 2004 civic si . i just got the mugen lip and can not get it all the way on . i have the front holes drilled out and put the lip on but can get the sides to go inthe wheel well . heres the pic's . if anybody can help . i appreciate it alot .






it fits the front but there is no room to push it back anymore for the back of the lip to go on . i dont know lol

you probably bought a 2002-2003 lip instead of 2004-2005

mugen dose not have a real one for the si hatch , just the type-r ( plus i could not afford a real one anyway lol ) . thats what the say on mugens website . as far as i know 02 -04 si should be the same in the front and rear according to where i bought it from .

 

it looks like you got it up too high...push it down so the top of the lip sits against the bottom of the bumper...then bend the sides around

 

ummm i believe that that only fits the jdm bumper.....

might want ot PM TheMutt on ephatch

 

IF thats the fake usdm mugen style lip ... it fits, it just fits like **** ... take off the bolts you already drilled ... and try putting it on from the wheel wells first, then work it forward... its crooked as **** on the side in your pic

IF ITS NOT the usdm one, as in REAL Mugen then it does NOT fit, period.

u have to take out the bumper in order for it to fit. that's what i did to my CF one.

I know a guy with an 04 that had cut the sides of his bumper to make it fit. Looked like ***! Sad to mess up a perfectly brand new car for such cheap parts.
