question greddy e-manage, hondata, vafc, turboedit
i have ls/vtec in my 89 crx..right now i'm running a obd0 pr3 with mugen chip..i will turbo my car and i want to choose wat kind of a fuel management is the best...i don't really want to go with dondata because i don't to stay with obd0..pls anyone give me some advice....
If i were you id change over to obd1 and get hondata...or better yet aem, fast, motech, etc etc. But if you HAVE to stay non obd then id look into uberdata. Im not really sure if its compatible with non obd but i think it is. From what i know Zdyne is the only good ems for non obd...but itll cost you out the ***.

There are many VTEC turbos running TurboEdit nicely now.
If you are up for getting down and dirty with an EMS for a Honda...cant beat the features & costs of TurboEdit / Uberdata vs. the competition.
TurboEdit is just easier if you are already OBD0...Uberdata if you are already OBD1.

TurboEdit is the way to go for a low cost system that will get the job done just as well as the high-buck systems. If you want a easy to use system that will cost you less than $200 to have someone else setup for you(or half that if you can do some of it yourself) then I would go with TurboEdit. I ran it last summer on my Turbo ZC and it works fine. I just bought a LM-1 windeband so next year I can get the tune dialed in better and some good power. Anyplace that can tune with Hondata should be able to tune your car with TurboEdit.
To have the ECU control the Vtec you will need to get a PM9 from a 90-91 Civic EX automatic

Or you can use a simple RPM activated switch.

or those who have a VAFC, alot of people run a PM6 and just use the afc as the switch....if u have one and think u didnt need it for your new EMS, use it as a switch.

Thats an expensive switch...I'd sell the VAFC and just find a $50 rpm switch on ebay or something

Well the creator got out of hondas basically...and went on to create another editor for Nissans
http://www.zcontrol.net I believe is the website...Mike is/was the creator.
TurboEdit just took over where GD left off.

yeah, i remember ghettodyne from quite a long time ago. Just curious, because I never hear about it anymore...wondered if it was still around. I know turboedit somewhat well, and know that both turboedit and ghettodyne were for OBD0...but all i ever hear about is turboedit anymore.
