Default 92 accord, leaky floors

My 1992 accord has been wet under the floor mats in the driver and passenger sides. It is always wet under there whether it has just rained or not. Could there be leaks in the body under the carpet? Or is it possible for water to travel from the top of the frame, down into the floor mats?

I would check your firewall seals/plugs and see if there are any holes.

unless the water source was constantly spraying upwards, it would be difficult for the water to travel up.
