i know the tanabe's are niiice exhausts, but i've never seen the world sport exhaust systems for EFs

Does that Tanabe racing medallion hit aftermarket sway bars, I have a jackson racing rear sway bar and all of the exhaust systems I have tried hit it. And how loud is it compared to the stock one or aftermarket exhaust. Plus any idea how heavy it is? Does it come as a cat back?

 

that tanabe is awesome!!!! how is it on performance? and sound i am really looking to get something new. my dc is pretty good as far as performance, at first i had a aem short ram then i put the dc on and i noticed a lil difference, sound wise it is great, i just hate the look, looks just like a tip

i also have the tanabe exhaust and the sustec rear lower sway bar and it clears it fine.....i love the sound of it too....its not too loud but its got a nice deep tone to it....

 

does the racing medellion sit lower then most other exhausts? im also looking to get one but i heard it sits lower then normal exhuasts and that it may scrape if my car is lowered. and is the racing medellion easy to instal???

That is the Racing medallion...and they do make that for the CRX now. Its been out for a while actually.

Does anyone know any other exhaust companies that manufacture a canister-style cat back for the EF hatchbacks? So far I know Kakimoto makes one. I like the Tanabe Racing Medallion for the Rex but they don't make it for the hatch. I might just buy the Tanabe application for the rex and modify it to fit my hatch.

 

what would you have to do to modify it to fit the hatch

 

Add about 9 inches ot the midpipe... My GReddy is for a Rex... It was before they made a 60mm for the hatch. All the undercar bends and the rear section are EXACTLY the same.

Here's my GReddy for a CRX on my hatch. 60mm piping, 90mm tip I beleive. VERY quiet, Nice LOW tones. Without a cat, naturally aspirated, I was told it's as quiet as stock.

Kakimoto makes a can exhaust for the EF???? r u sure? i've actually seen the kakimoto exhaust and its alot like the tanabe hyper medallion, rsr, and greddy. just a long polished transverse muffler. here's the kakimoto one http://www.kakimotoracing.co.jp/image_HS311.html.

as far as a can-style exhaust system goes...
- 5zigen makes an axle back system for both the crx and civic hb
- tanabe racing medallion for the crx (just need to add an 8 inch pipe after the cat to fit the civic hb).
- hks makes the hyper for the 90-93 integra (will fit crx and civic with cut-and-weld mods)
-does anyone have pics of these???

 

I believe Kakimoto makes another model cat-back for the EF hatch called the GT Box, the link you provided was the Kakimoto R EF application.

 

is it extremely new. cause its not listed under the civic sections or even the gt box section. http://www.kakimotoracing.co.jp/01-02-01_gtgox.html but if they do make it, i'd really like one too
