i have a b16 with a vortech supercharger,standard ecu etc etc..am about to buy a an-r compact header..and have been offered a apexi power fc and handcontroller..does anyone know if this is a good upgrade or will it be ok to use on this set up..thanks for your replys ..

What is your current set up? Any set up is better than some AFC hack ****. Let us know what you have, what your goals are etc.

 

hi mate thanks for the reply,my set up at present is b16 withe a vortech charger an aftercooler,skunk 2 inlet manifold,mugen 4-1 manifold and mugen loop exhaust,stock motor and stock ecu,and a vortech fmu.and 8 psi boost...currently dynod at 285 bhp and 189 torque...
car runs 13.56 1/4 mile times,on street tyres,the car is a 96 civic hatch empty with 2x seats,runs mugen alloys and spoon brakes..NOT THAT IT MATTERS..
i am going to buy a an-r compact header,and have been offered the apexi power fc and commander for 350 uk pounds...
i would like to hit high 12s next year..what would you recomend,?injectors,different inlet manifold etc etc...i am on fairly limited funds...so i try and upgrade with secondhand parts or trade where possible if you no what i mean..

buy the power fc for sure, its a great system, you will make lots of power with it!

I also have one, very good unit, however, I must admit I would rather have an AEM EMS, but it's working great for me right nowand I have made some decent power...
