zc swap details
I need to know where i can find a quality ZC motor to swap
ANd what all i would need for a 4th gen EF civic to make it work
The car it is going into is a autyomatic
and what i would need to do as far as transmissons are concerned
I searched and couldnt find what i needed

well you need do have fuel injection (so if the car has a carb. you need to make it mpfi.) you can use the zc tranny but you would have to use intermediate shaft(im not sure about an automatic) but i would say use si 5spd. zc or integra ecu and thats all i can remember for the most part the zc is just a "drop in" as far as searching: use dohc(for the zc) because zc is too short to search for
Are you keeping it auto or changing to 5 speed... If you swap to 5 speed you need all new pedal setup, clutch cable, etc.
My ZC motor had an auto "flywheel" when I bought it, so i had to get new clutch and flywheel to replace that. My car was originally 5spd though....

making the swap an automatic is going to be a very large NIGHTMARE. For a fact the mounts wont match up, because the transmission is huge, and its going to be slow with the slushbox anyways. Convert!
Yeah were doin this to one of my friends 86 hatch were gonna put a Dohc ZC in it with a manual, sorry bout that typo. I was wondering about goin from the carbed EW1 to ZC mpfi and the wiring
