whats the deal with the LS crank pully does it bump the boost up?

Yes, it's a cheap way to spin the JRSC a little faster and get more boost. You can get different pulleys for the blower, or for the alternator too.

I thought b20 increased the boost, not ls..

 

They both do. The B20 is more, but sometimes too much. The LS is supposed to be a nice compromise.
