AEBS Intake mainfold and hondata gasket
I am using the AEBS intake manifold and Hondata intake gasket on my ITR. I got longer intake manifold studs, and sandwiched the Hondata gasket between two OEM intake gaskets. No leaks.

Are the longer studs really necessary?
BTW, where did you get them? Are they an OEM part?

The OEM ITR studs were a little short for my taste, not many threads left for the nuts to grab. RSX-S studs is what I used.

I dont get it......you pay 5x what a quality OEM piece goes for and it still doesn't get a good seal..?!
If I pay $60 for the hondata one and still need to buy 2 OEM ones to make it work....count me out.

Exactly! For nuts, bolts, gaskets, etc I would rather have OEM over aftermarket any day. Its always the best stuff.

your absolutely wrong
I have an AN-R, no fitment issues and no leaking.
Did you tighten the bolts down in sequence? Working from the inside out? I snugged mine up in sequence first then went and tightend them down with my torque wrench arm.
Hope this helps.

If you have a stock gasket you could try using the hondata and the stock one together, or buy one more and do the hondata gasket sandwich like the other dude.

Thats why you dont have a seal, you are supposed to have an OEM gasket on each side!

I don't have an OEM gasket on either side and it seals up just fine with my AEBS IM.
Can you tell where that gasket is leaking? Is it sitting flush all around? Have you checked the IM mounting surface for flush by just seating the gasket against it?
I bought the Hondata over the AN-R because AN-R didn't return two of my phone calls to place an order. I guess they didn't want my business. Hondata was friendly and happy to take the order.

mine sealed just fine w/o two gaskets. btw i am also running the Hondata, im going to reuse it again whenever i install my AEBS manifold, and im willing to bet it will seal just fine again.
So where exactly is it leaking? Do you have a caliper to check the thickness of the gasket and ensure that it's uniform? There could have been a screwup at the factory and one small part of it is thinner than the rest.

we had one bad production run and a few gaskets made it to market with misaligned holes. this problem was caught right away and resolved.
