My First Dyno Experience!!!!
This is my first dyno event ever! I did not have a chance to take my car because of problems
with my dealer that I will not get into.... but here of the pics of my friends' ITRs and a pic of Austin's motor and car on the dyno.. Enjoy!!
The Crew..From left to right Chris, Bob, Dion, and Austin.

Yes, that is a Si valve cover..it's for tunning only

I dont wanna scarfe anyone but that YellowR on the right is missing a headlight...J/K i hate when people go to the dyno and gave JUST a street car, but they put race gas in it, make a ram AIR INTAKE, when they will never do that on the street.. just to get higher number
Thats my car. Any questions??? The intake was taped closed, due to the weather.

so what did u guys get?
Mike Marsey (RBoosted717) hit 264 whp and 170 ft/lbs. in his car before we left...
yeah yesterday was a good day. On side note, I hit my 100+ dyno run at DSR! lol
At first the day started out bad because when I went to base run the car, the car was blowing out the spark. But I was lucky and we had an extra set of plugs for it!So we pulled the plugs and noticed that they were toast. So we popped some new ones in and finally got a good base run. Then we touched the cam gears for a run to see what they will do. I just tried one setting and left it at that. I gained around 1-3whp in the bottom and top. The numbers I hit were higher because we were using uncorrected due to the 60.0deg F temp that the storm was causing. The SAE numbers were around 255whp which matches my old whp from back in Nov. So the 264whp and 170trq is around where it peaked at yesterday (uncorrected). Later that day I also changed the oil, popped in my Spoon thermostate, Spoon fan switch, Spoon Radiator Hoses, and some new coolant. The car now read at the first mark above total cold and the hwy and at around the 1/4 mark when I sit or driving slow! The only thing I noticed was that the car felt a lot more touchy and responsive.
Next on the list is a much needed valve adjustment, my unorthodox PS pulley, a new chip which has the correct VTEC point (4500 vs. the stock 5700 I'm at now), and maybe some stronger timing maps.
But yeah over all the meet was kinda cool. It was low key and to the point. Austin got to test out some new settings on his car, others were able to check out the shop and check out the dyno to better understand dyno's, others were able to play water skiing with their cars on the hwy! lol
I'll post some pictures later, along with a movie my friend (Downeybear) took of my car on the dyno.
Here's the 262whp dyno. I forgot to print the 262whp dynoplot. Note the plot is in Acutal horsepower because it was 60deg F yesterday. The correction factor on the dyno was crazy. The SAE number yesterday was 255whp which is identical to my last run in Nov when it was 72deg F. So I figure if it was normal temps, the power would be around 260whp.

Here's the same plot, but in SAE those who care:

(not to mention how loud Austin got with his "Improvised" intake...
