Here's a clip of a 0-60 mph run with my '95 LS. Was bored one night, and decided to take a clip and show how a LS accelerates with a GSR tranny. Mods include: short ram intake, DC sport 4-2-1 header, carsound cat, 2 1/4'' b pipe, stock muffler and of course, a GSR tranny.

Thanks for the responses guys!
That "bov" sound is my exhaust =/ theres a leak somewhere.. And i love the shorter gears! 3rd gear redlines at about 78 mph... and cruising at 80mph in 5th is around 4100 rpm

yes
yes
final drives are different too. 4.4 to 4.250 i think. i did some calculations a while ago and a gsr tranny revving to 7000 in an ls should redline at 53 in 2nd, 75 in 3rd, 99 in 4th and 130 in 5th, but this is all subject to tire size etc. im stoked regardless, your car pulls damn nice. imagine that with some boost in the mix
This might be the wrong forum, but does the GSR tranny bolt right to the LS block?? and do you use the LS clutch flywheel or gsr? Wiring and clutch cable(housing?)And last i would guess the passanger side axle is from the GSR also.
thanks

Awesome video Nine5IntegraLS, your LS seems to pull real nice with that tranny.

Thanks Greenery, i try
Anyways, yes the GSR tranny bolts right up to the LS motor. I believe the all b series clutches are the same. The flywheel im using is a lightened GSR flywheel, but im sure all b series flywheels work. Im still using my automatic LS axles, but am using a GSR intermediate shaft. But if your car is already a manual, your current axles/midshaft should still work.

I wish i knew this info years ago when my 90 blew its tranny, and all i could get at the time was a used GSR, but the mechanic told me it would not fit......grrrr. But i might have to look into the GSR for my 96 now
