is the motor on a 94 gsr the same as a 96 gsr motor and whats the difference between a 94 and 96 gsr. any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

The changes made mostly pertained to the emissions equipment and wiring harness-related items.

Changes to the harness sockets: fuel injectors, alternator, distributor

Additions (appending to existing OBD-1 systems): CKF sensor

Other changes:
EVAP system was altered and the purge solenoid is now mounted in the middle of hte manifold instead of off to the side.

Oil cooler deleted, facilitating a change in the main water pipe and block that deleted a couple of coolant nipples

FITV deleted, facilitating a change in the thermostat housing that deleted a nipple

IACV changed, uses a different bolt pattern (I think b/c I can't remember this too clearly)

I think that's it, but I probably missed something or other.
