Almost got scamed for my HIDs
As you guys all know, I've been trying to sell my HIDs on this board, twinturbo.net, and recycler. I got an email from a guy name Norman Willams.

I saw your advert and it fits what i have been searching for,I'm highly interested in buying it,what is the current condition and your last offering price,please get back to me asap.

And I replied and told him the price and info on the HIDs
and he emailed me back with this:
Hi,i have seen the price and its ok by me,i will buy the unit for $250,i have instructed my client in{usa} to issue the cashiers cheque to you.meanwhlie i also instructed him to include $2700 on the payment so you should expect a cashiers cheque of $2950, the excess is for my shipper that will becoming for pick up.I will like you to deduct $120 for your runng around.The funds will be used for the pickup of the(unit) along side 3 other CARS, i placed order for in care of my shipper.i'll imploy you to wire the balance via western union money transfer to my shipper as soon as you RECEIVE the cheque.My SHIPPER will come for pick up on a specicified date that will be convenient for you.i hope i can count on you for my balance I ALSO WANT THIS TO BASE ON TRUST, CAN I TRUST YOU?..P.S i wil l like you to give me ur contact info..also a s so on as u get the
cheque,cashing stor e will be given to you by me, for the fast cashing
of the cheque.Hope this is understandable by you .

As I was reading this, I'm thinking WTF?! All this dont make sense to me. So I replied saying that I do not understand your payment. I pasted this email to my friends and they right away told me that it was a scam by people from another country. They would send you a fake check to cash, after recieving the money, in a short time the bank will give you a call about a fake check. And you are held responsible. And most likely you have already shipped out the item.
I'm pretty sure this is not new to some of you guys, but for those that dont know please becareful. I'm so pissed right now even though I didn't get scammed. I dont like people f_cking with me and playing me for a fool. If I ever catch one of these guys, I swear I will knock that motha F_cker out like Ron Artest knock out the Piston Fan.

I would like to know however the previously offered price of highest ammounts for this unit and more informations regarding such a thing. I am from the country of Nigeria but have many associates in your country of United States. I will send you a check for ammount totaling of 7,500 Kilamambaeros wich is equal to $15,000 USD. You will deduct please for me payment of previously mentioned unit pricing plus an additonal $200 USD for your troubles then forward the rest to my assistant so he may deposit it to my many many off-shore bank accounts. Thank you sirs and maddams your help is appreciated much to me.
