Before anyone says anything, I already know! It's coming eventually, believe me.
OK, if you don't know, I'm sure somebody will still post what I am talking about anyways (lowering the car).
Just took a couple quick pics

I wasn't expecting them to arrive for another 10 days and the shop called me up and said, guess what, the wheels are here. So I quickly left work and had them changed out. This shop uses Nitrogen to fill the tires versus normal pump air. The wheels, damn, they are about 4lbs lighter (each) compared to the stock cast R wheels. The drivetrain should definitely like it as much as I like it. And yes the car needs to be dropped, just don't have the cash to do it right now, I don't want anything cheap for a sussy. I want an all aluminum setup to shave weight and also not rust out like steel. The ones I am looking at all are in the price range of $3500+. I think I may just buy a set of Swift lowering springs for the time being until the money is saved up. They drop the car approximately 1" and just slightly up the spring rate compared to stock. Like all of .3kg-mm front and rear.

What's the benefit of nitrogen besides being less dense (presuming)?
Awesome DC5 btw!

1. It has more mass, so it migrates through the tire three to four times slower. The result: Tires hold their psi longer.
2. It runs about 20% cooler. Less heat results in less tire degradation.
3. It drastically reduces oxidation on the rim and inner-liner (nitrogen systems almost totally eliminate oxygen -- the cause of oxidation -- from the mix).
4. It is environmentally safe.

racers tend to use it because it doesn't have any moisture in it and hence makes it less prone to temperature changes.
nice wheels btw.
and $3500 for a suspension? for the street? damn, that's a lot of dough. I could do pretty well with $1200 and use the rest for other mods. But hey, that's me.

i bet you have no idea how hard it is to mount tires on rims like those without messing up the rim... i messed up 2 of my wheels when mounting azines because of the stiff sidewall, props to the tire store
