Default 00-0739...stolen

I should have known that this day would come eventually. I got home from the Chiefs Monday Night Football game late tonight and found my garage door up. My R is gone. The thief(s) kicked in my back door, shattering the door jamb. It's pretty obvious they went looking for the keys immediately, picking up valuables here and there along the way and throwing them in my pillowcase.

They were in every room of my house, opening drawers, rummaging through my dresser, throwing my clothes on the floor. Police dusted for fingerprints and put out the apb for the R, but I know better than to get my hopes up. They also got and extra set of wheels/tires, various tools, etc, etc. I'll have to make a list of everything that was stolen tomorrow. I can't describe the empty feeling that I have, I feel like a statistic. Hopefully the shock will have worn off somewhat tomorrow morning when I start picking up the pieces.

Oh whoa!!! When I read this, I don't know, this one hit me a bit harder than the others (no offense to anyone). Jim, I'm sooo sorry. I'm really kind of surprised that this happened in that area, but I guess I shoud not. I feel terrible for you and your family. Please let me know if there's anything I can do, and I'm not joking.

i'm soo terribly sorry for your loss, its disgusting how thieves actually went into your home and took not just your keys but mostly everything valuable. Its a little bit odd how they knew you weren't home. I hope the police do catch these thieves. If you need anything let me know.

I am at a loss for words

Thieves are becoming more and more brazen and bold.

There due time will come.

That would be my worst nightmare! Sorry to hear that man. Its bad that they took your car but they ransacked your house too, thats really shitty. Thats one reason i take my car keys with me no matter where i'm going. At least it makes it that bit harder for them to take the car once they've got by the alrarm, immobiliser and tensile steel chain wrapped around the steering wheel!

This is insane. These thieves are simply out of control. I wish people just knew how to respect others' property.

Sorry to hear about your car and your house. Hopefully they'll find who did this.

Hey man, I'm terribly sorry to hear that ur car is gone. I live in KC as well and didnt really think that the Type-R was that much of a threat to get stolen considering there arent that many around here. This is really surprising, I'm terribly sorry to hear about ur loss and ill keep an eye out considering there are only 4 R's around here.
