Upgrading from CX brakes to EX brakes...
I've got a 92 civic CX and I'm upgrading my brakes to 95 civic EX brakes - knuckles, rotors, calipers, booster, MC, prop valve. Is this a straight bolt-up upgrade or am I going to need to bend or reflare any hard lines? If yes, which ones will I need to bend or reflare?
TIA

straight bolt on. i dont think youll need the prop valve and all of that, i believe its all the same. all you need is the spindles/hubs, and rear drum setup.

no, you dont need the prop valve, just knuckles, rotors, and calipers...mc/bb if you want it.
I have a set of calipers, rotors, and pads for sale right now (pretty damn cheap imo)

Use the proper Master Cylinder when upgrading front brakes (you will like them better). The EX Master Cylinder is a 7/8ths unit. If you are going to upgrade to rear discs in the future, you may want a 15/16th unit from the 91 Civic EX 4door.
I do believe all the brake boosters are the same for all 92-95 civics though, so if your curent one works fine, you may just want to leave it in. I could be wrong, but a quick part number check on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com will confirm.
Use the proper Proportioning valve when upgrading your rear brakes (will be much safer).
