Default Will projector headlights help my HIDs get brighter?

I got a 96 GSR with 2001 front bumper and I think it still has the stock 96 headlights on it. My 350Z HIDs don't shine for shiet on the road and yes I know why it does cause of the way the headlight is made. But I'm wondering, will these Dual Angel Eyes (Halo) Chrome Housing Projector Headlights help make it shine alot brighter? Right now, I can't see **** on the road so I gotta keep my high beams on and I don't want to do that cause it'll blind on coming traffic. So do you think it'll help at all? Any suggestions?

I just realized this is in the wrong forum, please delete this thread MODs cause I created another thread in the Appearance and Cosmetic forum

i think those dual angel eyes wid the projectors are still meant for halogen bulbs. so no it will not help shine better. the first mistake is that the 350z are meant for reflector bowls and use d2r bulbs. so trying to shine the 350z into a projectors are not going to work at all. to make anything work wid the angel eyes, u need to get d2s bulbs and retrofit oem HID projectors into the headlights.

if you dont want to buy the angel eyes, then do what i did, get a pair of ballast and a pair of d2s bulbs. then get an a pair of OEM HID PROJECTORs, like audi s4, bmw e46, e55, etc. and retofit that into ur existing headlights.

my current setup is, pair of gen 3 ballast, d2s orsam bulbs (4300k), and s2000 projectors. the s2000 has a nice cutoff and it looks very oem. but its a very hard retrofit.

well if you have a 2001 front bumper then you must have the 98-01 head lights. the 96 head lights would not fit into a 2001 bumper. also, if your car is lowered, you might want to align the lights or if your head lights are fogging up then clean them with some kind of metal polisher like never dull. mines were dull once and i rubbed some never dull of it and it made a big difference.
