Default Frame Help.

okay bought a new project to work on. basicaly its a 97 civic hatchback salvage title due to frame damage. here are pics

circled in yellow is the damage. i been told from the person i bought it from is that it hit a truck, body shop fixed it, to me its not a good job.

now i want to know any good frame specialist here in the bay area, California that i can take it to so they can straighten it out and weld on a new radiator support. or is it best to also weld on a new driver side frame rail also.

dang. is it the lovely dark amethyst pearl metallic color?

i know nothing about cali shops, but make sure you get that straightened out well. when you get a new radiator support, why not just mount an integra or prelude radiator in there for optimal cooling?

what are your other plans for the car?

no matter how much you spend, that car will never feel or handle the same.

Good luck.

i understand it wont be the same as before. but i am trying to get it close to it. this project car isnt going to be a daily driver. i have my dc2 for that. future plans are 99-00 civic front end. complete. ctr interior minus dash. i will have to either dye the current dash to black. 99-00 climate control conversion. and many more to come. the car color is purple but it was repainted to is300 gunmetal gray. i plan on painting it either champ white or some type of gold. like top secret gold but i have a looooong way before i do that. i want to paint the interior also. which i am in the process of removing. check it out.

here is when i brought it home the next day. as of now the front end is for sale. so its off the car.

I don't have hook-ups or anything but I've had my car at Daland on El Camino Real in S. San Francisco a few years back. I bent up my suspension and brought my car to them to check my frame. They have the latest equipment and gave me printouts for all the measurements made and referenced them with factory specs. It cost more than I was hoping but was worth it because it felt good knowing everything was fine with my car.
