We are trying to set up a day for a Dyno Day at Area 51 Fabrications in Irvine, CA... The date is not final yet, but we should have a confirmed date after the first of the year...most likely it will fall on Jan 20th, a Sunday. So far it is open to any type of car...Please give any suggestions or comments for this event...

 

how much will it be, and is it for two baseline runs? And do we get a cool print out that we can show off to our friends =D ?

the price is not set yet..probably two to three baseline runs, yes you get a print out sheet so you can brag to everybody...remember they have a very nice Clayton Dyno which doesnt give you as high a hp number as a dyno jet dyno would...so your hp numbers will be lower a little bit...price is still in the air, probably around 40 bucks...thinking about having a lil lunch too, maybe a cruise afterward also...

 

any promotional goods? (cheap/free chit)

we are hoping to draw in a good crowd for this event...i would love it if 30 type r showed up, but we are not going to limit it to only R owners but other Hondas as well. We are hoping to have a prize for highest horsepower, and maybe lowest horsepower...

 

I hope I don't get lowest if I go. That would suck.

 

how much lower as far as hp/tq would the clayton dyno be compared to a dyno jet? IF i go, this will be my first dyno run on my R so i'm looking for something to reads out good numbers so i can sleep easier at night.

 

Has a cost been determined yet? Also, is this event still open to all cars?

Ugh, this is why we need a meet just for pics, so we don't have a bunch of people just sitting around, while others have all the fun! I'll be there though. Guess we'll just have to have another meet soon after.
