need help trouble codes

i have two codes in my 91 civic hatch b16 swap.... 7 and 8...where do i start?..what to do....?...ow to check?...

code 7 is your TPS. check to see if it's unplugged before anything. code 8 is TDC, might be your distributor...

my tps is plugged up...any test plans?..for checking ?...distributor seams to be working fine...
