Which spark plug wires?
For testing purpose; can I use (is it safe) spark plug wires let's say from D16 on B16A2. I'm having some cold starting problems and I'm wondering if the wires are the problem.
If not, which wires can I use (beside the ones for B16A and B18C)?
Thanks!

It's a wierd one
If the car sits for about 24 hours or more it would start and run only on 3 cyl. for a second or so. But ONLY when it sits for about 24 hours.
Before I cleaned the fuel injectors, the car wouldn't start at all. And after third or fourth try it would run on 3 cyl until the engine was revved up to 4.000 rpm.
I changed all 4 spark plugs. Battery is new, rotor/distribution cap should be OK. When the engine starts it runs OK. Although I have an idle problem - it's too low somethimes. And somethimes is ok.
So, now I'm checking ground cable on engine and the spark plug wire.

if you say at idle you can hear like there is only 3cyl...do a cylinder power balance test to check out if one cylinder is out...there are 2 ways you can do it...but the way i do it is...have eng running...disable iac motor...then pull off one injector, and watch the idle...if it drops (should about 55 or less rpm)...plug it back up then do the same for others...if the idle doesnt drop and still runs the same thats the cyl thats messed up... dont know if that helped but worth a try
