well they got done today finally and i never thought it would *** so much power. Between the two of them and running at 9 psi i notice a rediculous amount of power gained throughout the whole power band. Im interested to see what ill be able to do with this now, im really happy. i got my injectors for 270 from ben and my 3" custom pipe for 175 and i think its the best power per dollar gain ive had. later just sharing my thoughts.

 

damn i need to get off my *** and get my exhaust and downpipe installed. I'm assuming you did a Thermal and lowered the rise rate to 8:1

 

Congrats dude, Thermal told me that the difference between even 2.5" and 3" exhaust with Honda tubo is amazing. I knew they were not full of it!!!!

 

Right now i am still running 12:1 i ordered the 8:1 but it hasnt arrived yet. If that helps too hey im in for another suprise. Im just still shocked about my gains, im a happy guy today, hopefully with some slicks i can hit low 13s now, hehe who knows maybe better.

turbos love free flowing exhausts. That's probably the best mod you can do if you haven't done it already. I'm sure this guy picked up 30 hp easy. Dial in the af ratio and you could get gains up to 50hp.

unfortunately, if you live here in the northern part of california... 3in exhaust would get your *** a fat ticket and maybe more. my car is way too loud with a 2.5 downpipe back already. cant stand it sometimes... people complain about riding in the back of my car.

I used to run my b16a turbo like that...i had a GReddy PE, and I would unbolt the two bolts, scoot the exhaust over, and line up the left hole with the right hole, and bolt it, so the exhaust pipe was still on totally, but scooted over, and viola!!!...open downpipe...talk about power...and dope sound
