Default Code 14

I want to buy a 1988 Civic with Si tranny but it has check engine light. I dont know if you could fix it. I dont even know what is code 14. I dont know if its worth the money $1100.

code 14 is eacv (electronic air control) can be fixed if the car is clean i would buy it for $1100 code 14 is not real major(not hard to fix)

they cant be more then $5-$10 at a junkyard, it's only 2 bolts and 2 coolant lines

that is what u need to replace.. or maybe u dont even have to replace it.. check connections (plug) first .. then take it off and clean it .. if that doesnt work then get another one.
