Default New swaps take heat off theft?

A bit of topic!

Do most people on here think that in time, the New K20/K24 swaps will take the heat off of ITR thefts and older Hondas in general? Maybe start seeing far more RSX/TSX thefts due to the New swaps. Seems most people would want the newer motors in their cars due to the higher output potential of these newer engines. It just seems that these swaps are starting to make headway and this might make thieves turn their cheek at the older B series motors!

Theft does happen for the motors don't get me wrong. But look at it this way. If they are stealing cars and stuff like that that means they don't have much money to begin with, so do you think they would actually have the money to finish the swap even if they had the k20 motor? The R is targeted because a lot can be taken out of em and used in practically any Civic or Integra, seats, motor, interior, etc.

I don't think ITR or any B/H series theft will end until they have raped the soil dry and the only ones left will be garage ****** or caRs in the boon docks.

They'll steal whatever they can get their hands on. Most of them will steal the car for stuff that they can see.

If they see your interior all done up and nice wheels, five lug, front end. That's the stuff they want. Most of the thieves are ricers at heart and just want the bling. Motor is just a bonus and for bragging rights for them.

I doubt any thief does anything besides showing off and street racing.

You can steal my Accord V-6 though! Please come get it.....it has five lug too! Leather seats. I hear people running 9's with the V6 accord swap in their EG's!!!

No because any schmuck can steal an older honda. The newer hondas actually take some mechanical know-how to steal. Thieves will do whats easiest, why do you think they steal.

This thread makes no sense. Who knows and who cares? No matter what, we're all going to keep doing what we're doing to protect our cars from theft. Why is that even a question?!?

Way to go, you have yet again proven yourself to be ignorant and childish.

There are more than a few people on this board who have full time R conversions and are broke too

broke people with full type r converions take months-years to complete. "broke *** mother *******" with full type r conversions take 1 night to complete.

if youre friends took years to complete their car then theyre alright.
